Box 512 was struck at approximately 1930 hours for the reported compactor fire in the rear of Lowe's.  Engines 16, 13, 14, Truck 15, and Rescue 18 were dispatched on the box assignment.  First arriving units found smoke escaping from the compactor door and dumpster.  Dumpster was separated from compactor and pulled forward by the winch on Rescue 18.  Hand lines from Engine 13, and 16 were put into use.  Members operated on scene for about 1 hour.
